BIO Sheila is a creative writer and communications specialist living in Langley, B.C. with her husband, Dave and her dog, Cleo. She has been published in Saddle Up magazine (Armstrong, B.C) and in Looseleaf (e-zine) as well as being a member of five Weekend Writes with eHarlequin.com. Sheila is a long-time volunteer with the Surrey International Writer's Conference (www.siwc.ca) where she is actively involved in everything from participant registration to presenter introductions. Over the past five years she has been priveledged to introduce the likes of Terry Brooks, Jean Auel, Diana Gabaldon and Jack Whyte to name just a few. A graduate of the Print Futures: Professional Writing program at Douglas College (diploma), Sheila has gained experience in editing, proofreading, website design, technical and report writing as well as online and print research. She hopes to attend Royal Roads University as a mature student in their distance education program which will allow her to work full time while pursuing her Bachelors Degree in Applied Communications. Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant and in Customer Service give Sheila a well rounded background from which to draw upon.
Sheila has become known within our organization as hihgly organized, accountable, creative and as having a wonderful personality. She has been an integral part of our team and I believe will be an addition to any organization. Kyle M. Baillie
